Ballinamore Mohill Greenway

The Ballinamore Mohill Greenway group started in 2021 as part of the Innovating Communities Project.

Mission: We are a community action group working to establish a traffic-free cycling and walking route from Ballinamore to Mohill, utilising as much as possible the historic narrow gauge Cavan-Leitrim railway.

Survey

We are conducting a preliminary survey to find out what people living near the old narrow gauge railway line think about a potential greenway. We also want to find out how those living locally feel about the quality of current local cycling and walking facilities. The survey takes less than 5 minutes to fill out and can be accessed here:
